The Florida Lotto has changed as of October 11, 2009 to the Florida Lotto
with XTRA. When you play the XTRA for $1 more, you can multiply your
winnings by the multiplier drawn. From October 11 to December 27, 2009, the
minimum prize for the 3/6-X will be $25.

Position Frequencies. Since the beginning of the Florida Lotto with its new matrix of 6/53 which started in 1999 (old matrix was 6/49 and ran from 1988 to 1999, making data from those years irrelevant), the winning numbers drawn have displayed certain pattern ranges for each position. The Tables below show these pattern ranges according to the percentage risk you want to take when choosing your numbers.

80% RISK. 80 percent of all winning numbers drawn, fall within the position pattern ranges in the following table. The results of recent winning numbers are included in the table.

85% RISK. 85 percent of all winning numbers drawn, fall within the 85% risk position pattern ranges. Results of recent draws are shown.

Odd and Even Numbers. How many odd and even numbers do you have for your numbers? Compare yours to the table below to see how your mix of odd and even numbers fit the historical percentages drawn. As you can see from the Table, not too many numbers are all odd or all even.

Add Your Numbers Up - That's Your SUM. How does your SUM compare with the following table? See what range your SUM falls into and then check the percentage column for a determination of what your percentage chances are of winning.

Number Cohorts. The following NUMBER COHORT SUMMARY shows the frequency of each number occurring in the different Cohort Ranges. When picking your numbers, try to follow the main patterns to increase your chances of winning.

Position Frequency By First Number. Check your First Number with the frequencies of all the other numbers that you have chosen for Positions 2 to 6. If your Position 2 to 6 numbers have a very low frequency, you might want to change them to numbers with higher frequencies. The Results of the Latest Draw are shown below.
