Position Frequencies. Since year 2000, the beginning of the current game of 47/27 numbers, the California SuperLotto Plus winning numbers drawn have displayed certain pattern ranges for each position. When choosing your numbers, these ranges of numbers for each position will help you. For the Mega Ball, the numbers 3, 7, 8, 14, 21, 24 and 25 were the least drawn and were therefore left out of the pattern ranges depending on the 80% or 85% position.

80% POSITION. 80 percent of all winning numbers drawn, fall within the position pattern ranges in the following table. The results of recent winning numbers are included in the table. The Mega Ball numbers 3, 7, 8, 14, 21, 24 and 25 were left out.

85% POSITION. 85 percent of all winning numbers drawn, fall within the 85% position pattern ranges. Results of recent draws are shown. The Mega Ball numbers 3, 7, 8, 21, and 25 were left out.

Odd and Even Numbers. Check your count of odd and even numbers. Compare yours to the tables below to see how your mix of odd and even numbers fit the historical percentages drawn for both Tables WITH the Mega Ball and WITHOUT the Mega Ball.

Number Cohorts. How do your numbers fit the following NUMBER COHORT SUMMARY Table? If your numbers are outside the historical ranges, chances are that you will be reducing your winning opportunities.

Position Frequency By First Number. Check your First Number with the frequencies of all the other numbers that you have chosen for Positions 2 to 5. If your Position 2 to 5 numbers have a very low frequency, you might want to change them to numbers with higher frequencies.
You can choose your Mega Ball number based on the most frequent Mega Ball with your First Number OR you can pick the most frequent Mega Ball of All your numbers.
