Getting Your Numbers


Hoosier Lotto is played throughout the State of Indiana, United States.

By the way, Hoosier is a nickname for a native or resident of Indiana.

Pick up a ticket at any Indiana lottery retailer and select SIX numbers from 1 to 48.

If you don''t want to pick your own numbers, you can have the Lottery computer (Quick Pick) choose your numbers.

You can buy tickets for up to 10 drawings in advance.

Tickets (boards) cost $1 for ONE SELECTION of a 6 number combination.


The Draw


Every Wednesday and Saturday evening, SIX numbers are drawn.

Draws take place at approximately 10:40 p.m.

Prizes must be validated within 180 days of the draw.

Prizes can only be redeemed in Indiana.


Jackpots


Jackpots start at $1 Million for the first two draws and if not won, are carried over to the next draw.

The Jackpot increases by $500,000 per draw.

If there is more than ONE winner, then the Jackpot is shared among all winners.

The chances of winning the Jackpot are 1:12,271,512 per SIX NUMBER COMBINATION.
